Time Flies!

Here are a few of my stamping and paper projects from the last month or so. This BOO caused quite a stir around the neighborhood, everyone liked it. I have my friend Gayle to thank for being able to make it, since I traced the pattern from one she had bought.

Blog Bugs

I keep having bugs creep into my blog. I'm sure that is because I don't know what I'm doing with it most of the time. I am learning everything by trial and error. I
have decided that is not the best way to learn some things. But since it is about the only way I know of to do this, I guess I'll keep going. Tried to load a slideshow of my splitcoast gallery but I don't think it's going to work. And no more time to mess with it tonight - have to pack to go see my grandaughter (and my daughter and son-in-law too) tomorrow. Off to pack now.

Good Fishing!

Well, I have to comment on my husband's fishing trip because I had a good time while he was gone and he had such a good time and brought home lots of fish. So we have eaten fish a couple of times since he got home. MMMM Good! Here are a couple of pictures of the fishing.

Well my husband is all packed. Right after Church tomorrow he leaves for a fishing trip. I will have a few more days that I can do anything that I want and that means more stamping projects. I really would like to catch up on some of the challenges. So I will definitely be playing for at least a couple of days. And I am hoping we will have some good fish to put in the freezer too. Maybe we'll have a nice big one on the grill.

Outside vs.Inside?

Our weather has been so hot lately that it has been tempting to just stay inside all the time and not go out at all. But the grass does need to be watered and then eventually it has to be cut(not as often as without the extreme heat)again. So I have been out a little in the yard, but have spent most of my free time in the house. I have done a couple of fun projects. Here is a page I did for one of my grandaughter's scrapbooks.

UHU Samples Set

Well today I have a couple of things to show you. I made these with the samples UHU sent me. Eventhough I didn't get any glue, which is what I thought I would get, I did get these papers (except for the solid one. I already had that). I had decided to try out my new Matchbox die and just happened to choose the solid green that matched my samples perfectly. So I put them to use for this little get well set. I kept it simple so it would be a little better suited for a male get well. Don't have anyone to send it to just yet but that is a good thing.
Well I'm off to make something else to show you next time.

Stamping Crazy

For the last couple of months I have spent almost every free minute of my life doing some sort of stamping. That is a good thing, except that maybe my house is suffering. Still have the old wallpaper up in the bathroom that was supposed to come down when we put the new lights in. But those bectangular holes in the wallpaper are barely noticeable. Maybe sometime soon I can decide what I really want to do with the room as far as color and texture for the walls etc.
But until then, more stamping.
